The
Director of Insurance, has requested for extension of the APGLI Scheme to
Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff working in schools in Greater Visakhapatnam
Municipal Corporation and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation on par with other
Municipalities in the State whose salaries are being drawn through Treasuries
under 010 Head of Account as the recoveries are also receiving from the
respective Drawing and Disbursing Officers regularly
The
Government, after careful examination of the proposal of the Director of
Insurance, hereby orders for extending the Andhra Pradesh Government Life
Insurance Scheme to the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff working in the Schools
functioning under Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation and Vijayawada
Municipal Corporation with effect from November 01, 2015.
The Director of Insurance, A.P., Hyderabad
shall take necessary action accordingly.
